Morgan The Magnificent

As with the sketches before it started with the movie Bartok the Magnificent. In this case, however, I was drawn to the dragon. She wasn't really shown very much and what they did show... well it wasn't very flattering even for a villain.

But then my train of thought went kind of crazy. I thought about Morgan and how movie dragons and the like must both amuse and appall him. I can just imagine him trying out the form just to see if he could make it look any better.

The bottom was a laughable scene I got. I don't know if Ben or Morgan have met yet but I could imagine that Ben's old ways of slaying dragons might have had a few consequences.

"Used to slay dragons, did you? How about trying that now?"

Kind of thing. Of course Ben is rather fond of keeping the flesh on his body unchared so I imagine he'd put down his sword and back away slowly. "You know I know a *great* library. We should go see about it."

So this is just another tribute to :iconaltalamatox:'s characters. I love them so. I don't know if I got their personalities remotely right but it was fun either way.

The dragon is reffed from Don Bluth's Bartok the Magnificent.

The way dragon looked wasn't a disappointment. But the extremely brief screen time coupled with the decision to make a a feral animal for most of it were large missteps as many others said. It's like killing the character and leaving something else in its place. And it's to the service of simplifying the hero's task to lure her to her demise. Having her speak more after finding out, saying anything after that, no matter how brief would be an improvement. Or do some conscious action that isn't in effort to burn everything down.
